We are delighted that you are visiting our website today.  All Saints’ Episcopal Church of Colorado City, Texas and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church of Sweetwater, Texas are two congregations who have one heart.  In addition to sharing a vicar, we often worship together, fellowship together, and serve together whenever we can.  Please visit us on Sunday mornings as we worship in our respective congregations.  All Saints’ has a 9 a.m. Sunday service, and Saint Stephen’s Sunday service is at 11 a.m.

We are part of the Episcopal Church, and we welcome all people to join with us as we follow Jesus and walk the way of love.  Please explore our website to learn more about us.  You may also wish to read our parish profile which is located here.  We hope that you will come visit us soon!

Saint Stephen’s Episcopal Church is located in West Texas along I-20 about forty minutes west of Abilene in the town of Sweetwater.  We are a small congregation with a big heart.  Although our growth is small, we remain faithful, and we seek to continue to serve others in Christ’s name.  Service to our community is core to our identity.

We are actively involved in organizations that strive to support and help each other. A few of these include the Sweetwater Ministerial Alliance, The Sweetwater First United Methodist food pantry, and the Sweetwater House of Peace (SHOP).  We are involved in a local outreach program that meets at Argos Brewhouse and Bookseller in downtown Sweetwater. Argos does not simply sell books and coffee; it provides a community gathering place that hosts bands and other talent and provides a unique space to hang out with family and friends.

Come and visit us.  We would love to see you!

The congregation at All Saints’, though small, is truly a church family and has many strengths. As continuing pioneers, our members have the desire to keep our church and Anglican faith strong and to remain an important Christian influence in our community.  We are in the process of establishing a food truck lot on property donated to the church. The vision is to host bands and an area where local people can gather for food, fellowship, and fun.

Representatives from both missions participated and mentored other churches in “Reclaiming Christianity,” a spiritual formation seminar sponsored by the Church of the Heavenly Rest in Abilene. Because of the unique shared ministry that All Saints and St. Stephen’s try to live out, we decided to meet outside the walls of the church — in Colorado City the meetings occurred at the Kelley Café.

We are not big, and we are not rich, but there is a love that generates among us and radiates outward to the community beyond us. We want to love God and others ever more deeply.
